Yay for angst. ^^; And yay for an excuse to finally update this thing. Hm, wonder if anyone even looks at this anymore. >_>;

CloudUke challenge fic [22 Aug 2004|02:08am]
[ mood | weird ]

Title: Hero...or Zero?
Subject: Final Fantasy VII/Kingdom Hearts
Rating: R (silly, not really graphic implied lemon)
Summary: This is my entry for the Cloud-uke-athon challenge for Cloud's b-day located here. This is Cloud's 3am appointment with Hercules.
Note: I still can't believe I actually wrote a Hercules x Cloud fic. XP

This is the weirdest thin I've ever written, I swear )

stupid essay [25 Mar 2004|07:06pm]
[ mood | blah ]

Because some people asked for it...I'm posting my stupid essay for English AP on the play "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennesse Williams.

Warning...this essay sucks. x_x I did a rather shitty job on it but I really didn't care at the time, I just wanted to get it down. And it might not make much sense unless you've read the play itself.

improv story [03 Feb 2004|06:25pm]
[ mood | refreshed ]

Title: The Effects of Boredom and Five Cups of Coffee
Subject: This is something I wrote back in 11th grade. But I'm still rather fond of it. The prompt: "Write a short story that begins with 'I never knew they could do that with ordinary string', has it's characters experience a life-threatening event, cannot end in death, and must contain the following items: a ball, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, a domesticated animal, a pop idol, and somewhere mention the University of Chicago." It was an old prompt for said college.

college essay [03 Feb 2004|06:16pm]
[ mood | content ]

Title: Ode to My Microwave
Subject: The college essay I wrote to St. Mary's. The prompt was to write about an invention made in the last 50 years that has made an impact on your life. Thus, silliness ensued.

Ode to My Microwave )

And yes, my Cain fic is still alive but I don't think I'll be writing in it for a while. I have way too many things going on right now. Possibility of me going back at it after Katsucon, maybe over spring break but we all know how slow I am.

In-Progress Cain Fic [24 Sep 2003|05:50pm]
[ mood | contemplative ]
[ music | Sagitarius - Yukari ]

Title: Currently Untitled
Subject: Count Cain
Rating: eventually R
Summary: Proof that I am in fact writing this thing. There isn't that much of it so far though. Just want to know if I'm going in the right direction or not before I get any further.

change do you good [16 Aug 2003|04:19pm]
[ mood | worried ]
[ music | Decadence - Baiser ]

I finally changed the layout on this thing to fit it better. What better choice than Fruits Basket? I mean, Shigure is a writer, Hatori is a dragon, and Ayame...just stands there looking pretty. ^^; So they go along with it perfectly.

And yes, this is a sign that I'll be putting more stuff in here soon. I've actually started writing the "evil fic". Yup, I've typed up a few paragraphs already in fact.

Ugh. This fic is going to take a lot out of me and I'm really nervous about it since I have a number of people anxiously waiting for me to write it. Mwer.

There's a coffin over there.
Oh, you didn't notice it?
Don't worry, not many do.
Who does it belong to, you ask?
Well now, does it really matter?
We all belong in coffins.
We all die eventually after all.
We are just insects really.

Ah, but yes, the coffin.
Watch the people go by it.
Watch as one by one,
They take the hammer
And slam a nail into the coffin.
They do not know what they do.
But they proceed in their action anyways.

Listen closely.
You might hear the screams
That these nails bring forth.
Or perhaps you cannot.
After all, they don't appear to hear them.
Why, you ask?
Perhaps they aren't listening.
Or perhaps the one that screams
Doesn't want them to hear.
Yet, the nails remain
And the screaming continues.

Ah, poor soul that lies within,
Does nothing to prevent its fate.
Merely allows the nails to pierce flesh,
And pray that they do not notice.
Yet can they not hear the silent plea,
That comes forth against its will?
"Please, help me."

So now, I present the real question.
Here is the hammer in your own hand.
Will you slam another nail into the coffin?

[ mood | hopeful ]

Well, just a note that I edited Child's Game and its now up on fanfiction.net in the Count Cain section, here: http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1393227

I also submitted it to the Count Cain Archive located here: http://www.hiddencache.com/cain/fan/
Haven't got any message back from them yet. The whole Count Cain fanfic world is still pretty small but its actually growing, rather rapidly lately I might add.

poem [17 Jun 2003|07:52pm]
[ mood | bored ]

I had to write a poem for English a while back. I told myself over and over again that I would not write an angst poem. And what did I end up writing? An angst poem. x_x

Title: Innocent Once

Once an innocent child
Anticipating the life ahead
A child so wonderful
Full of faith and talent
Now not a child
The world has made her
Bitter and cold
And Innocent no more
Dreams have faded
Her heart has leapt for joy
And been broken, twice
Now she is afraid
Afraid of the world
Afraid of love
Afraid of herself
One still so young
Now longs for yesterday
When she was
Once an innocent child

And no, its not exactly a poem about myself. ^^; Just a view of how I see the world and how one goes from childhood to young adulthood.

Child's Game [21 May 2003|09:07pm]
Title: Child's Game
Subject: Count Cain
Rating: PG-15 I would say, not quite R in my opinion
Summary: An odd little piece that randomly popped up into my head. Its about Michala but contains absolutely no spoilers for the Count Cain manga. You don't need to know anything about the manga to be able to read this.

Lets have some fun... )

Rant #1 [28 Mar 2003|04:04pm]
Nope, sorry, still no actual writings or fics today. Instead I present a much needed personal rant in order to get out my emotions right now. This is being posted here mostly because I feel its a bit too personal for posting in my regular LJ and I don't want to bother people with it. Plus, I seem to usually get my message out wrong when I post my opinion in my regular LJ.

And yes this has to do with current situations that have been taking place, mostly that dealing with Jamie and Tri.

Lyreanna's AutoBiography [28 Feb 2003|05:03pm]
[ mood | anxious ]
[ music | Promise - Raphael ]

Title: Lyreanna's AutoBiography or Rambles of an Immortal (haven't decided yet)
Subject: Cryaid (original story)
Rating: PG-13
Summary: This is just a little something I wrote a little while back for Cryaid. Not sure if this is going to be used for anything really. It does serve some purpose as explaining a bit of the background of Cryaid though I will probably digest this same information into the story itself by one method or another.

Rambles of an Immortal )

Note: I'm still working out all the jinks and such for my Dehlia Dragonian dialect. I am not very wise in these things and obviously won't be able to just create an entire language but I am working at making little phrases to use every so often. I'm still debating on how to use them though. Ikara and Dekara will probably stay as I've grown fond of those words. Not sure about the future of the rest of the language yet though.
